Wear it Pink week at the Auditory Implant Service

The team wore pink to their meeting in support of the Wear it Pink Week.  The week started on 16th October and ended on Friday 20th October.  Some people wore something pink each day but on Friday, everyone joined in. Everyone was invited    Patients visiting the Auditory Implant Service, were invited to wear pink, to support the Wear it Pink Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.  There were puzzles, and games based on the pink theme. Moments of Joy in 2023 – Prima Magazine

Prima is a monthly women's magazine published in Paris, France. The magazine has been in circulation since 1982. It has editions in Spain, Germany, and the United Kingdom.  The magazine is aimed at women who are over 40 years of age but it is read more widely. Introducing Carol Xie

Carol Xie will be joining the USAIS team during August as our newest surgeon.   Carol will return from her Otology Fellowship in Auckland, New Zealand to take up her post at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital (Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust).  She will then start work as one of the USAIS Surgeons.
