How to stop feedback when wearing a woolly hat

Some patients, mostly Bone Conduction Device Implant patients, cannot wear a hat without getting an annoying screeching sound, others can hear the wind blow – and it can be loud.  One of our patients came in with this SolaceShield accessory recently. 

Worn over the bone conduction device and under a woolly hat to keep the head warm, there was no screeching, no feedback and no wind noise.
