Deaf Football Team in Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh

AFC Stoneham was formed in 1919 and will have 109 teams for season 2023/24 ranging from minnows team to the first team who will compete in the Wessex Premier League. They run their own Player Development Centre, FA Wildcats Centre for girls and a Saturday Morning Fun Club for children aged 4-10 along with various community projects under their new AFC Stoneham in the Community banner. BEARS virtual reality research project

BEARS virtual reality research project is now live The launch of the research project BEARS (Both Ears Training package) at the University of Southampton has been a huge success. Communicate with success event with UK Deaf Sport

Wear it Pink week at the Auditory Implant Service

The team wore pink to their meeting in support of the Wear it Pink Week.  The week started on 16th October and ended on Friday 20th October.  Some people wore something pink each day but on Friday, everyone joined in. Everyone was invited    Patients visiting the Auditory Implant Service, were invited to wear pink, to support the Wear it Pink Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.  There were puzzles, and games based on the pink theme. Moments of Joy in 2023 – Prima Magazine

Prima is a monthly women's magazine published in Paris, France. The magazine has been in circulation since 1982. It has editions in Spain, Germany, and the United Kingdom.  The magazine is aimed at women who are over 40 years of age but it is read more widely.
