Lipreading is a vital communication skill for many people with hearing loss.  It involves watching and recognising lip shapes and facial movements of speakers to gain a better understanding of what they are saying.

USAIS Hearing Therapist, Samantha Johnson, is an experienced lipreading teacher and will be running a 10-week introduction to lipreading course on Wednesday mornings.  The course is free of charge, but we do ask you to commit to the full 10 weeks.

Please email Samantha on s.j.johnson@soton.ac.uk to book your space on the course – or if you have any questions.
