Recruitment to the support team at the Auditory Implant Service at Southampton University

 

The Auditory Implant Service at Southampton University is recruiting to two roles within the Administration and Support Team.   The Service is funded by the NHS to provide auditory clinical services for patients who cannot benefit from a hearing aid. The admin team supports patients and clinicians and ensures that the service runs smoothly.

 

The first post is Clinic Secretary

The role involves scheduling patient appointments, keeping patient records up to date, supporting one of our four surgeons with clinics, the preparation and send out of devices for surgery at one of the hospitals and typing correspondence.  For more information about the role see the job advert and description on the University Jobsite.

The second post is for Clinic Support Assistant

This post holder will be a member of the team that is the first point of contact for patients who are experiencing problems with their processors or who need parts.  The Clinic Support Assistant will send out parts and accessories, and liaise with manufacturers to arrange processor repairs.  The post holder will also book in patients who arrive for their appointments and deal with general telephone enquiries.  For more information about the role see the job advert and description on the University Jobsite.
