Patient parking permits to be abolished
From Monday 25th November, patients will no longer be required to display yellow parking permits when parking on the University site.
The University has installed cameras and parking enforcement will be based on number plate recognition.
Patients who enter their registration number on a tablet in USAIS reception will be able to park on the University campus, in all spaces except for the Pay and Display and Prebooked Parking.
The five dedicated ISVR Patient parking spaces outside of Building 28 will remain where they are for the timebeing and there are a number of disabled parking spaces nearby for patients with those permits.
Patients with mobility issues can be dropped off near to the USAIS building 19, but will need to be guided by the on-site marshals. The marshals will be clearly visible and wearing high-visibility clothing, so do speak to one of them if you have any questions.
