My non-implanted hearing device – ADHEAR

Hearpeers is a series of online webinars in which experienced patients discuss their experience of a device and answer questions by those who are considering using it.

Hosted by Lorraine, the parent of Will who has used ADHEAR since the age of 11, and current ADHEAR user, Allison.

At the age of 2 Will was diagnosed with a cholesteatoma which took the hearing from his left ear.  After using other bone conduction devices which he never felt happy with, Will was one of the first people to get an ADHEAR when it became available over five years ago.

ADHEAR is ideal for people of any age with conductive hearing loss. There’s no implant, making it especially useful for people who want to avoid, or those who are unable to undergo surgery.

Those considering a bone conduction hearing system are invited to join this webinar on Saturday 17th August 2024 11:00am – 11:45am, which will also include a Q&A session, where attendees will be able to ask any questions to Lorraine, Will, Alison or a clinical specialist.
