The University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service is hosting a one-day conference on “The Future of Auditory Implants” which will take place on Friday 6th November 2015 at Chilworth Hotel near Southampton, as part of celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the service. The meeting will feature talks by leading researchers into future directions in different types of implants, including vestibular implantation, bone-anchored hearing aids and middle ear implants, the potential for drug-eluting cochlear implants and hearing preservation and new directions for development of cochlear implant processing.
This will be a great opportunity to learn about what the future holds for cochlear implants and other implantable hearing devices, and will be of particular interest to audiologists, ENT surgeons and other professionals who refer patients for cochlear implants or other implantable hearing devices, as well as anybody who has an interest in the fascinating scientific developments in this area.
Delegates will be awarded 5 CPD points for attendance.
