Due to the most recent COVID-19 safety restrictions we are currently operating a very limited service to patients and families. We have further reduced the appointments at AIS and we are working with some families remotely.
Our current opening times will be 10.00 am to 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Please phone or email the service before travelling to the site, as we will not be able to see you without prior agreement. This is to enable us to keep the number of people in the building low.
We would also like to remind families to adhere to the current advice regarding social distancing please – this is for the benefit of everyone.
We might ask you to stay in your car if you need any spare equipment and we will bring it to you.
Unfortunately all cochlear implant as well as bone conduction implant surgeries and associated scans have been cancelled by the hospitals. We understand that this will be quite upsetting for patients and families who would have been looking forward to this stage in their hearing journey.
Please do contact us if you are struggling emotionally and we will do our best to support you or signpost you to various resources. We will be contacting patients to reschedule cancelled appointment and surgeries when we are given the go-ahead by the government and hospitals.
We would ask that you do not come to clinic if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or need to self-isolate.
